As part of Hatley Pointe’s Mountain Operations team, you’ll help shape every skier’s and rider’s experience—from first chair to last run. This department includes several key roles such as Snowmaker, Lift Operator, Snow Groomer, and more—all essential to keeping the mountain running safely, smoothly, and beautifully throughout the winter season. Whether you’re maintaining snow quality, operating heavy machinery, or greeting guests at the lift line, you’ll be part of the team that makes winter happen at Hatley Pointe.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain mountain systems such as snowmaking and grooming equipment.

• Support the safe and efficient operation of lifts, trails, and snow surfaces.

• Perform routine inspections, safety checks, and light maintenance on assigned equipment.

• Assist guests courteously and professionally, providing information about resort policies and mountain conditions.

• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free work areas.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to ensure seamless daily operations.

• Follow all Hatley Pointe safety protocols and uphold our standards of excellence and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Strong work ethic and reliability in a team-oriented, outdoor environment.

• Prior experience in snowmaking, grooming, or lift operations preferred (training provided for entry-level roles).

• Comfort working outdoors in variable mountain weather conditions.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and during peak periods.

• Mechanical aptitude or experience operating machinery is a plus.
