Alex was born and raised in Houston, TX. Although a Texas girl at heart, she fell in love with this region and moved to Johnson City, TN in 2021. She worked in the healthcare administration and management field for 14 years. After starting in a call center, Alex quickly worked her way up to a lead position where she managed all departments, trained staff, handled critical situations, and ensured all medical and company policies were met.
Her desire to help in any way possible, active listening skills, and strong leadership sparked an interest in human resources. Alex then decided to study human resource management with Cornell University. She became Hatley Pointe’s Human Resources Manager a few months after the major renovation project began. Amidst the chaos of construction and the excitement of an expanding team, Alex honed in on her strong communication skills, attention to detail, and passion for making a difference to help lay the foundation and set the principles of Hatley Pointe.
Alex is deeply rooted in her family. Her ideal night would consist of cooking an Italian or Mexican meal for her family before a night full of games like Yahtzee, Scrabble and Phase 10. Alex finds joy in seeing and experiencing new places, whether they are near or far. She is most excited to spend time on the slopes with her family and friends and to enjoy the all new restaurant, Smoke and Timber.
